Kuyper Apartments opened in fall 2010 with more than 190 first residents. Angelini & Associates designed the hall with geothermal heating and cooling (90 wells), prairie views, a two-story fireplace commons, performance stage, and student-run coffee shop.

The project anchored south-campus growth later extended by Southview’s corridor and The Squares (2023).
